imPRESS Press-On Manicure Review

August 26, 2012

While I’ve got a a pretty good collection of nail polish colours in my beauty bag, my eye is always wondering to all these new ‘instant nails’ products.

I’ve already discovered that IΒ love liked the Nailease nail varnish strips but they don’t last long enough.

I’m sure you’ve all seen Nicole Scherzinger advertising the Broadway Nails imPRESS press-on manicure range and lucky for you i decided to get them a go.

Review:

So I tried my first set of imPRESS nails in the colour ‘first date’… it was fate πŸ˜›

Broadway claims that this is revolutionary technology and while I won’t go that far I Β do think they came up with a pretty genius product.

It really is SUPER easy to get the nails on and get yourself out with what looks like a brand new manicure.

First you get your nail sizes together and in order ( there’s 12 different sizes so everyone should be fine) then prep you real nails with prep pad that they so kindly provide.

Then you peel off the tab and ‘press’ the nails on. I held them down for about 10 seconds just to be safe.

And that’s all there is too it. Nails done, perfect size, lovely colour and super shiny. I was pretty happy with that.

I should point out I’ve never ever worn fake nails so this was all new to me.

After a week, I personally don’t like fakies because I’m far to active with my hands and it was annoying to have these tips in the way, messing up my daily routine.

My first nail started to peel off after 5 days and I really wasn’t treating them with care so I do believe they could last even longer.

I WILL still use my packs of imPRESS because I did see the benefit of having the nails on and they really can make a look better than any nail polish ever could.

Verdict: A simple, effective way to get your new manicure when you don’t have time to go get them done. Lasts a minimum of five days but there are so many spares that even if one comes off you can just replace it anyway πŸ™‚
