V.I.P: Grace Cole Peach and Pear Body Butter review

January 1, 2014

So the Grace Cole Fruit Works Peach & Pear Body Butter is officially my favourite body butter ever. Yes I’m starting my review like this because I am THAT in love with it.

They say: “The Body Butter absorbs quickly without leaving an oily residue. This seriously hydrating cream will leave your skin soft and delicately scented with a fragrance of ripe peaches, juicy apples and pears.”

Review: As you can see in the picture below, I was working my way through this pretty quickly when I remembered to take a few snaps before it was all gone.

This is a problem I only ever have with a product that I really like. It instantly becomes part of my daily routine and I completely forget I’m even meant to be reviewing it for you lovely lot.

With this gem of a body butter, it was literally love at first smell! I opened it up to have my senses graced with pear and peach deliciousness. I basically had to run down to the kitchen and gulp down some fruit juice because my tastebuds were tingling. I’ve never craved fruit so much. Who knows this might help me actually start getting my 5-a-day!

As soon as I lathered it on, I feel in love with the fact it is creamy and thick but still light. It’s actually perfect because it leaves such a fruity smell on your skin which just so happened to match the perfume I was using over the summer, Guess Seductive.

And to think all this fabulousness is made in England! What’s not to love eh?

Compared to my other favourite body butters, Orogold and Sanctuary Spa, this has just managed to knock them to the side to claim the top spot.

Verdict: Thick enough to please thirsty skin like mine but still light enough not to leave oily residue. It smells like heaven and it leaves you feeling moisturised throughout the day. LOVE IT.

Has you ever used a Grace Cole product?
