I don’t see myself as a big beauty know-it-all in any way, shape or form but throughout our little lives we pick up and learn a few tips along the way.
After seeing quite a few bloggers share their tips and findings, I thought I might start adding my two cents into the mix.
So first up is a pretty simple but extremely purse friendly option – use any hand cream you don’t like as your foot cream!
I have bought more hand cream than I can count at numerous media beauty sales because I am totally OCD about having moisturised palms at ALL times.
Problem is I’m quite fussy about my hand creams and they usuaslly need to smell, leave my hands feeling nice as well as actually moisturising my skin.
Some fall short of the mark and instead of letting them go to waste I instead use them in between using my normal foot creams.
For example, I was a sucker and bought one of the those dead sea mineral nail kit thing they are alwasy selling at shopping centres and train stations once and the hand cream that came along with it was nice but too big to carry around with me.
At first I used it as my office hand cream but then I started to get bored with how long it was taking me to use up. So I after finishing my Margaret Dabbs foot cream, I used up my hand cream before jumping on to my Mandara Spa foot cream.
When used along with your usual foot care routine, I think you’ll find hand creams can be a pretty decent substitute. Plus it’s a handy for when you’re off on holiday or for a weekend break because you can just pack the one hand cream which you know works well for both.
Have you ever used your hand cream for something else?
