I’ve just about recovered from all the last minute fun I was lucky enough to enjoy during London Fashion Week in September 2016. Here are my top five highlights from the week…
Attending the PPQ post-show dinner at Quaglino’s
I was fortunate enough to attend the intimate celebration dinner for fashion line PPQ at iconic London restaurant, Quaglino’s, in Mayfair.
It was great to chat with PPQ co-founder Amy Molyneux and her partner, Tomas Baleztena about working together for the first time on the show, before we were joined by fellow co-founder Percy Parker. I also managed to grab fun chats with Jo Wood, Ashley James and Georgia Toffolo.
When dinner was served I was sat alongside stylists from the catwalk show who were an absolute hoot. A fabulous Friday evening!
Meeting LFW icon Pandemonia in Tramp
The PPQ after party was held in private member’s club, Tramp. I’d never been before so it was great to get my butt in there for once.
I couldn’t resist asking Pandemonia for a selfie, she is basically the queen of LFW.
Grooving to amazing live music during the Prophetik runway show
Jeff Garner did a great job of bring a slice of Nashville to London as country band Dorado gave an amazing live performance as the model strutted down the catwalk in amazing looks.
Finding Tupac at PA5H after party in the Toy RoOm
Fashion Week help me discover a club in Soho that seemed to be tailor-made just for me! Light ups of 2pac, Drake and Notorious B.I.G – I was in rapper heaven.
It took a while for the music to get going at the to get going, but the free-flowing Ciroc and pineapple sorted me out real quick.
Getting to tick another member’s club off the list with Samuel Dougal
I had a lovely night at The Library in … where I was able to view Samuel Dougal’s latest collection.
For someone who doesn’t really do fashion week, I like to think I made the most of it this time round.
Until next time!
