Liquid collagen has been everywhere I turn in the past few years! I’ve always felt like these products aren’t necessarily aimed at someone as young as me but I was still intrigued to know if taking collagen everyday really could make such a drastic difference.
Anyone with an interest in beauty knows how important collagen is, so surely it’s the beauty splurge we should all be spending our money on?
Thankfully the lovely ladies at Sparkle PR treated me to a box of LQ Liquid health supplements – Skin, Hair & Nails so I could find out what all the fuss was about.
The Skin, Hair & Nails supplement is a daily 50ml liquid vitamin supplement that contains 7000 mg of marine collagen, resveratrol, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, silicon, selenium and vitamins. LQ Skin, Hair & Nails is scientifically formulated to help maintain and support healthy skin, hair and nails.
You might want to pop over to the website to get the full lowdown on all the ingredients but these babies have it all – Marine Collagen, Vitamin C, Biotin, Selenium, Silicon and Vitamin E.
REVIEW: I really enjoyed my month’s supply of LQ for quite a few reasons and the first thing was the amount of liquid you get in each tube. While I can handle the fruity yet slightly medicinal flavour, I know others might not necessarily love it and that could put someone of using it. But it’s just a couple of gulps in each capsule so it’s really easy to drink.
I started to notice a difference after about two weeks and so did those around me! I got compliments on my skin’s glow, how clear it looks and just how good it looked even though I wasn’t wearing foundation (on that particular day).
The key thing that proved this works is how my skin changed after I complete the pack. Within a month I felt like my skin was just duller somehow, and my eye area looked more tired. It was a rather depressing moment, as you can imagine.
I definitely felt like my nails were stronger but it was really hard to tell if it made a difference with my hair.
VERDICT: This is DEFINITELY worth a try and TOTALLY worth the money because you are sure to see results. It is a bit pricey to maintain depending on your budget, but you should definitely keep an eye out for when it goes on offer. I certainly will be!
Have you tried liquid collagen before? Would love to know your thoughts!
