This is a post for my fellow dry lip sufferers.
If you’ve ever met me then you’ll know I always keep a tin of Vaseline to hand and, more often than not, I usually open it up every hour to top up.
But in the winter months especially, I find that the trusty Vaseline just isn’t enough to stop my lips from cracking and flaking.
I’d noticed a few positive posts about the brand over the years but just never bothered to give it a try. Then I picked up a tube during a beauty sale at work and thank God I did!
Turns out Lanolips is made from Lanolin – which is found on the wool of sheep that helps keep their coat protected and dry throughout the year.
The molecular structure of lanolin mimics human skin lipids, making it the most skin-compatible ingredient around. More so than any other natural or synthetic ingredient in skincare!
It’s completely natural, made in Australia (love you Straya) and completely animal cruelty free – what more could you want?
There’s quite a few products in their range but I’ve only tried to tinted balm so far.
If you are a fan of lip gloss then you will struggle to like this because it is basically like a moisturising lip gloss that seals in the moisture rather just making your lips sticky.
I literally had it on for about four hours before needing to top up and my lips were happy as Larry. The results are really that instant.
If you’ve been on the hunt for that perfect lip balm then you have to give this bad boy a try.
Are the other Lanolip products as good as the lip balm? Would love to know you thoughts about the brand!
