The tickets sold out like hotcakes, despite the hefty price, so I was pretty intrigued to see how Drake was going to make sure fans got their money’s worth when his Boy Meets World Tour landed in London this week.
Thanks to one of my good friend, I managed to get a last minute seat to the packed out show and I was ready to take in the #views.
Young Thug was the opening act and got the crowd ready for Drizzy, who eventually got onto the stage about 20 minutes late (but who’s counting? Haha.)
The show started off like every Drake show I’ve seen before, but things really took a turn when the amazing staging came into affect.
Drizzy teamed up with Director X to turn light up balls hanging above the stage into the perfect tool to create visual vibes to match his songs.
My easily-pleased self was just happy to watch all the pretty lights moving around while Drake powered through his many, many hits.
All in all it was a pretty epic production and the surprise appearances from Section Boyz, Giggs and Kyla was the icing on the cake.
If you were lucky enough to book a ticket to the show then you are in for a treat.
