So I have a love/hate relationship with face wipes because as a lazy girl there is nothing better than just using a wipe at the end of a long day. Or when you come in from a night out. Or on a normal day when you just can’t be bothered.
However, they never really take off ALL my eyes make-up. This is partly because I only use one wipe per night (we can’t be throwing money away for no reason!) and I’m pretty sure it leads to a spot outbreak every time.
But as I said, I am a lazy girl and since it’s invention, I can’t see myself not using face wipes when I need them. So let’s have a look at the ones that can actually leave my face clean.
I don’t know if there is such a thing as too much moisture but oh my these wipes are like water! I literally felt like I had washed my face when I was done. Had to actually pat my face dry with my towel after, otherwise I would have woken up with the shiniest face in the world.
But I must say, due to all the wetness, my make up came of completely. Amazing! I can easily say this is the first wipe that has totally removed every single trace of eye make-up and that is something considering I use at least 5 coats of mascara 🙂
But these babies are pretty expensive for a face wipe at the hefty price of £7. I tend to only buy wipes when they are on offer so I guess it’s worth treating yourself every now and then when 3 for 2 is on the range. Just depends if you really want to be spending £7 per pack when could buy something more fun like blusher or mascara!
Verdict: Does the job and gets the make-up off… but no face wipe is worth more than like £3. Only worth the money if you really struggle to find something that suits your skin.
