I tend not to use products that are meant for keeping skin ‘youthful’ cause I’m only 21 and definitely not paranoid enough to be stressing about all that jazz.
But I’m not the kind of girl who turns down a beauty freebie and I’ve seen really positive reviews about Weleda products so I thought it was worth giving something from the brand a little test trial.
The oil comes in capsules but unlike other capsules I’ve tried in my life, these ones were quite hard. As a weakling, I slightly struggled to twist it with enough strength. My lack of patience meant i just used scissors instead 😛
So the pack actually tells you to rub the oil into your face while it’s still wet. I’m yet to remember this and always dry my face before I remember I’m not meant to!
I tend to leave my face with a bit of moisture anyway so I’m sure it won’t affect the product that much.
Anyway, there is a lot of oil in such a small package so it’s one to use on your face and neck. Too much is a good thing because at least you know you’re getting your money’s worth.
The oil is a bit like other dry oils you may have tried out before (bio-oil etc) so you not going leave you super greasy and cause spots.
I used it for a one week intense treatment and I can honestly say my face felt softer, had kind of healthy glow and looked slightly more even in tone.
I’m now going to use it twice a week just so I can a) make it last a bit longer and b) see how effective it is alongside other products.
Verdict: Not sure how well it helps with wrinkles but this is a nice treatment to maintain supple and healthy skin. It might actually help even out your skin tone as well!
