If you need a mascara that won’t budge, then this is the mascara for you!
I was lucky enough to have a chat with some of the No 7 team this summer about their awesome products and much loved Ta-Dah campaigns.
It was clear to me that No 7 are pretty proud of their little mascara and if the name didn’t hint their confidence in the product then these promises should…
They describe Stay Perfect as a “Mascara that lasts through whatever life throws at you, it’s: smudge proof, flake proof, sweat proof, humidity proof, tearproof …pretty much life-proof.”
That sure is a lot of “proofs” right? And then they go on to say that it’s super simple to take this resistant mascara off your delicate little lashes.
When the day is over, “simply hold a cotton pad soaked in hand hot water over your eye to gently release the tubes of colour. No panda eyes, no smudging, just beautifully clean lashes all ready for your beauty sleep.”
Review: No 7 have every reason to brag because this mascara does every single thing it say on the packaging. I made sure to use this a good number of times just in case something would come my way to really put this bad boy to the test but nothing would make it budge.
While I’m not a big fan of the flexible plastic short brush, I can see how it is better suited to coat lashes evenly with the long-lasting formula of resistance. I just wish it was a tad longer is all.
As far as the volume, this isn’t going to be my favourite mascara but I think I can let that slide when I’m thanking the heavens I don’t have smudges all over my face on an important day.
And they weren’t lying the nothing except warm/hot water can get rid off this mascara at the end of the day. I cheekily tried my new fave eye makeup remover, Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover, and it struggled big time.
Just stick to the warm water and a cotton pad darlings.
Verdict: Does the job for days when you need extra muscle from your products but don’t expect your lashes to look like falsies in the process.
Have you tried the Stay Perfect mascara? Recommend any similar long-lasting mascara’s I should try?
