Over the years I have managed to find a few products that actually get it right and so they are known as my V.I.Ps – Very Impressive Products.
As someone with weak nails, I’m always on the look out for something to help them stay strong so I can maintain the length I’ve painstakingly managed to achieve.
I don’t have the longest nails in the world but considering the fact I’m a pretty hands on girl – with a job that involves hours of typing – I don’t really need them to be THAT long.
But after years of not ingesting enough calcium, I have brittle nails that are prone to splitting and breaking at least once a week. Sob.
Thankfully, I have found something that can help this situation become less frequent. Obviously I’m drinking more milk, taking a few supplements and all that good stuff.
But I’m also using the amazing Rimmel Nail Nurse Nail Rescue as a nail treatment. You’re told to put on a layer the first day, top it up on the next day and then leave it for the rest of the week. Take it off and repeat the process a second time and you’ll instantly have stronger nails.
Yes, it is that simple and yes it is effective. Hence why I love it.
The rose pink colour means it looks great alone as a clear, shiny polish but I totally plan to use this a undercoat from now on so my nails don’t get damaged by other varnishes.
Don’t waster your money on anything more expensive. And if you know of something that is just as great but cheaper than £5, let me know!
Have you tried the nail nurse before?
